Eland Donates Cable to ‘Crisis Open Christmas’
The Crisis
Open Christmas is a has has been running Every year since 1971. It runs
over 8 days in 7 centres providing accommodation, clothing and food to
over 1,500 guests as well as a wide range of medical services,
workshops, learning opportunities, and housing advice.
The centres are usually disused warehouse or open plan
office sites that have remained empty for several years, An army of
volunteers including joiners, plumbers and electricians work flat out
to transform the buildings over a three week period, with the vast
majority of resources being donated. As you can imagine the list of
materials and equipment needed to accomplish this is immense, and we
are glad to help out.
