Eland Cables lets someone else do the walking

We've run, we've cycled and we've walked- all for charity. And so we thought we'd rest a little and let someone else get some excercise. Eland donated £1,500 to an enthusiastic team from Fleet Alliance who participated in a walk for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre.
Eland wears it pink!

They days are getting darker and so it took little encouragement for Eland employees to delve into their wardrobes to find their most cheerful pink garments to brighten the day in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign charity. We raised a total of £1,168.
Cable, love, jealousy and passion

Who would have thought that cables and opera can mix? Eland Cables is supporting the London culture scene by providing cables for the English National Opera's staging of "Carmen". The show opens on the 29th September 2007 in London.

To mark the completion of another financial year at Eland Cables, we decided to head north and take our chances at the Doncaster Races. Our total winnings amounted to about £3.85 (except for Philip who made enough to retire in the Caribbean). But, of course, it's not the winning that counts here, it's the taking part and the resulting comaradery experienced. A successful day and an inspiring start to a new financial year!
Eland Cables helps bring light to Sheffield children

We don't know a lot about gardening, but we were pleased that we were able to help out some people who do. Greenfingers is a charity that builds gardens for Children's Hospices and Eland Cables saw an opportunity to help. We donated 150m of cable to one of their projects in our neighbourhood. This was used for lighting and pumps in the garden at Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
