Patch Panels

Eland’s Patch Panels are mainly for use in commercial installations, due to the number of ports they provide. Patch Panels are available in two sizes, 1U and 2U. A “U” is a standard measurement given for designating height in computer enclosures – the actual measurement of a “U” is 1.75 inches.

Eland’s 1U UTP Patch Panel and 2U UTP Patch Panel are both available in Cat5 or Cat6 varieties.

Application: These panels are Cat 5E/Cat 6 compliant and fit into standard 19" data cabinets. They are available with 24 and 48 ports.
1U Patch panels have IDC contacts suitable for LSA style tooling. Although suitable for both domestic and commercial properties few homes need 24 ports so these panels will mainly be used in commercial installation.

These are suitable for use with all Cat 5E and Cat 6 Cables.
