Fire Performance Cable

Eland's fire performance and heat resistance cables are mainly used in fire alarms and emergency lighting circuits. Eland's Fire Performance Cables are LPCB approved. Firecel 114H Standard Fire Cable is suitable for installations where circuit integrity must be maintained in the event of a fire.

Firecel 114E Enhanced is recommended for applications where the cable may need to operate for an extended period of time in comparison to a standard Fire Cable e.g buildings of larger size where evacution times are greater or buildings where sprinkler systems are not installed.

Firecel 114H Standard is tested to ensure compliance of BS EN 50200 circuit integrity for 30 mins (PH30) and 60 mins (PH60) for 1.5mm² and above. Firecel 114H is also certified to pass BS EN 50200 Annex E for 30 mins. Firecel 114E Enhanced is designed to survive over 120 minutes (PH120) as well as meeting the requirements for BS.

Application: Firecel SR 114E Fire Performance Cable is intended for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting circuits. Firecel 114E Enhanced cable is recommended for situations where fire cables may need to remain operating correctly for a longer period than is expected of a standard fire cable. Firecel PH120 is capable of maintaining circuitry for up to 120 minutes after the detection of fire. This added level of security is invaluable in buildings without sprinkler systems, which have a longer evacuation process due to the size, complexity or purpose of the building, or any building that has been assessed as requiring enhanced fire protection.
