Application: Firecel SR 114E Fire Performance Cable is intended for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting circuits. Firecel 114E Enhanced cable is recommended for situations where fire cables may need to remain operating correctly for a longer period than is expected of a standard fire cable. For example, in buildings without sprinkler systems, which have a longer evacuation process due to the size, complexity or purpose of the building, or any building that has been assessed as requiring enhanced fire protection.

Conductor:
Plain annealed copper to BS EN 60228:2005 (previously BS6360). Solid (Class 1) for 1-1.5-2.5mm²*. Stranded (Class 2) for 4mm².
*1.5 - 2.5mm² are available with stranded conductors (Class 2)

Insulation:
Mica tape plus high performance silicone rubber El2 to BS EN 50363-1.

Electrostatic Screen:
Aluminium/polyester tape. 125% coverage.

Earth Conductor:
Tinned annealed copper to BS EN 60228:2005(previously BS6360) (drain wire for multicore cables)

Sheath:
LSZH abrasion resistant, flame retardant thermoplastic material Type LTS3 to BS 7655-6.1.

Sheath Colour: Red or White

Voltage Rating: 300/500V

Operating Temperature: -40°C to +90°C

Minimum Bending Radius: 6 x Overall Diameter

3 Cores + E: Brown, Black, Grey
4 Cores + E: Blue, Brown, Black, Grey
7 Cores*: Centre: Brown

Installation:
Firecel Cable is easy to handle and install without the need for specialist equipment. The cable can be attached directly to a surface using LSZH coated copper P clips, available with the cables. Plastic clips can not be used. Firecel Cable can also be installed directly into trays or conduit, or buried in plaster. Firecel Cable is suitable for use in protected outdoor environments.
