Friday Drinks Go International

The second to compete in the Great Friday Drinks Challenge, Eland Cables' Export Team stuck to what they know best - international markets. We were treated to an impressive sampling of German, Dutch, Italian, Polish and Hungarian cuisine. The refreshments, however, came at a price. We were all given a quiz to test our general knowledge of these countries and wished we'd paid more attention in Geography class at school. Well done to Philip's team for their exceptional general knowledge (with no help, whatsoever, from Wikipedia).

The competition is on! Each department at Eland Cables is taking it in turn to host our 'end of month drinks'. Working within budget, the challenge is to feed the bellies and quench the thirst of everyone in the London office. The Sales Team was first up and managed to put on an impressive show with a Mexican theme. It was all sombreros and maracas, together with homemade Fajitas washed down by tequila shots. Watch this space to see if the Export Team can top their efforts next month.

Excited anticipation filled the air at Eland Cables in the run up to Easter.
