Our range of High Voltage Power Cables can provide primary connection to a power grid for voltages up to 110kV, and are available with Foil Laminate (FL) and water blocking options to limit repair costs in the event of damage. Mains armoured power cables can be supplied for installation in power networks, underground, outdoors and in cable ducting – as well as for installation where fire, smoke emission and toxic fumes create a potential threat. The company also offers highly flexible solutions that have the capacity to withstand tough weather conditions, mechanical and thermal stresses, as well as oil and grease – making them ideal for applications such as mobile power supplies.
Among the company’s many solutions is a range of tri-rated cable or panel wire (that meets BS, UL and CSA standards) which is frequently used in switch control, relay and control instrumentation panels of power switchgear. Other products are available for connecting equipment such as generators and lighting to the mains supply – as well as cables for use in arduous industrial environments where good flexibility and resistance to mechanical abrasion is essential. Aluminium alloy, aerial bundled, Class 5, aluminium conductor steel reinforced or bare conductors are just some of the many options available.

Arctic Grade Cable

Application: Designed to withstand severe external temperatures remaining flexible at temperatures as low as -40°C. Arctic Grade PVC mains cords manufactured to BS7919 will remain flexible at temperatures down to minus 40°C making them particularly suitable for outdoor applications and for use where flexibility is required at sub zero temperatures. At normal temperatures the cable is very limp and flexible, offering some of the characteristics usually found in elastomeric cables.
